I liked how this turned out (:, doesn't happen that often. Everything is hand drawn!!! Full view
It's a girl(Dorothy) falling asleep on a park bench, sort of like wizard of OZ where she dreams of her adventures. Two guys passed by and started staring at her for unknown reasons.
There's so much pink in this picture because Glinda was my favourite character and I would always get excited at her rare appearances. I loved this movie and I used to get really scared of the evil witch. Judy Garland was one of the prettiest and talented actresses. <3
------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hey guys! I just set up flickr, would be kinda amazing if you could check it out! [link]
this is absolutely gorgeous i love the freedom of the watercolours and the flow of the pattern and how the shapes overlap but look transparent, like the girl's skirt covering the bench, but you can see the background paint right through it loving the illustrations, they look kinda comical and they're great this would be amazing as an illustration in a childrens storybook, the kind you never get bored despite the number of times you've read it
brilliant artwork
